i have an order from my aunt for her son's birthday in March. and the little boy is 'obsessed' with ANGRY BIRD. so he decided he wants a PARABEAK cake. what is that?!!! He even added: 'the beak has to be very LOOOOOONG ok?' geez i am just so out of touch. hmmm seriously i am thinking if i should take up this challenge. so to hell with it 'ALL RIGHT' i said and now i m stuck with this s*** which i have to make it work no matter what. i have no idea how to go about doing it. just a cake with parabeak seems boring. i wanna do the entire angry bird family. ok not the entire. just the parabeak that red bird and the green pigs and wooden planks and stones?
oh well i should go Phoon Huat to get some fondant and start making the sugar models. talking about it, i bought a set of sugar modeling tool online from eBay and it still have not arrive yet. :( i hope they didnt cheat my money.
oh by the way, the Milo Cake didnt turn out as good as expected. the new whipping cream that i bought seems different from the ones i usually use. the volume doesnt double as much when i whipped it. i really wonder why. Back to the Milo Cake, it was too creamy and tasted boring. need to experiment more. however here's the picture of it.
oh those are ladyfingers at the side and i top it with milo and cocoa powder :) ladyfingers were yummy though. :D
i shall end off with a picture of what i made yesterday for my dearest friend :)
xx
All your cakes are looking gorgeous babe!! I'm sure somehow, someway, God will unfold His plan for you in where you should go and what you should do in relation to work - just keep praying about it. =)
ReplyDeleteCan you believe that exams are in less than 2-3 weeks time? Less than 2 weeks for theory, less than 3 weeks for practical. I'm super not prepared!! And as usual, I'm stressing and worrying about time management. Grr...
Anyway, I'm home in less than 6 weeks!! Suddenly, I really don't want this to end. =(((
